Private Half-Yearly or Yearly Private Coaching Mastery Program:

Game Improvement Training for Adults and Youth (men, women or couples). Click here to request pricing.

This highly customized program is designed for the member who wants to make significant change or improvement in their golf game, one-on-one, for six months to a year. This is teaching and coaching at a level similar to the top players in golf and tour professionals. First, we start with how you, the student learns, and then we take a look at your equipment and what your body physically can and cannot do. We then design a learning experience that shows you how to properly practice, and how to make changes in your swing that will transfer to the course even under pressure.

Menu items available to you through this program can include:

  • Complete game and performance evaluation to include non-competitive and competitive game review. Identify strengths and weaknesses in all parts of the game.
  • Create realistic, achievable goals and a strategy plan.
  • Complete golf equipment assessment.
  • Handouts and written, customized personal plan to add to the handouts each coaching session.
  • Range and on course instruction. This includes a designed program of how to practice purposefully and effectively. Learn how to transfer improved skills to the golf course and score better.
  • Skills and drills offered each week and applicable to the part of the game being coached. It could even include challenge games to stay sharp for competition.
  • Dial in and improve fundamentals. Ball striking ability; hit more greens in regulation.
  • More effectively execute the shots you have and learn new ones, especially 100 yards and in.
  • Fitness Review. Where do you need more strength and flexibility to enhance and support performance goals?
  • Structured, supervised practice.
  • Shot-by-shot on-line tracking of all parts of your game.
  • College resume help (for college-bound students).

FRCC Junior Introductory and Mastery Programs

The junior golf developmental program at Fairbanks Ranch is in its infancy. Programs to be offered this season will include social introductory programs, a golf and tennis opportunity, and a new competitive junior golf program that will encourage and inspire junior golfers to strive toward mastery.

Many requests have been made to participate in home and away competitions, in addition to San Diego Junior Golf Association preparation and planning. Most of FRCC junior golfers are not quite ready to compete. The teaching staff is ready to coach and prepare these junior golfers for competition.

Levels of progression have been established to incentivize FRCC junior golfers and to help parents make decisions for placing their juniors in appropriate programs.

In 2012, we established four levels of progression for junior golfers:

Green (New and Beginner Junior Golfers)

This program is a general introduction to golf that creates interest in the game by teaching through Golf fun-da-mentals and games. Junior golfers learn best through games. Younger, newer players need cooperative games where all learn and all win.

Bronze (Advanced Beginner)

This program further captures the junior golfer's interest through more games, fun-da-mentals and introduces them to actually "playing" the course. At this level the coach or teacher blends the learning into team competition but holds off on individual competition until the skill level progresses to silver.

Silver (New Competitive Junior)

This level is typically specialized coaching and skills development for juniors ages 8-14. At this level, most junior golfers are "hooked" on golf and will be taught a variety of skill sets through competitive games appropriate to their level of play and specific to the part of the game being played and coached.

Gold (Junior Mastery for the serious competitor)

This is the junior players program. The goal here is to prepare the junior golfer to compete at an elite level locally. To prepare for college golf should that be the junior golfer's desire. Ours is to create junior leaders and golfers for life.
